Positive Pay
Dramatically decrease your susceptibility to check fraud. Positive Pay is a service that matches the account number, check number and dollar amount of each check presented for payment against a list of checks you previously authorized and issued to increase your account safety and give you peace of mind.
- Protect your account from fraudulent checks clearing your account
- You can maintain a ledger in Positive Pay by uploading a file or entering checks manually online
- Digital Banking Business User(s) can review exceptions daily between 2PM and 4PM
- Decisions are rendered to the Business Banking Cash Management team to ensure checks are cleared appropriately
Getting Started
- Request approval of this service by contacting your Business Relationship Manager or local branch
- Once approved, sign onto Digital Banking for Business
- Select the “Positive Pay” tab and click the “Upload Issued Checks” link
