With VoiceID, we use your voice to verify your identity, allowing fast and secure access to your accounts whenever you call us without the need to enter a password or answer security questions.

VoiceID generates a unique “voiceprint” – similar to a fingerprint — analyzing more than 130 different characteristics in your voice. Once your voiceprint is captured, VoiceID matches your voice to your voiceprint to make sure it’s you when calling us.

We know you have a lot of passwords and PINs to remember. With VoiceID, you can confirm your identity simply by speaking with a representative without the need for security questions or a password – so you can access your accounts faster and more securely.

Yes, it should work. Your voice has over 130 unique characteristics, only a few of which are affected by a cold. If your voice is severely affected, such as with laryngitis, VoiceID may not work and we’ll verify your identity with security questions.

Because your voice is unique to you, it is a more secure way of confirming your identity. VoiceID technology is less susceptible to fraud threats that affect more traditional methods of authentication, with sophisticated monitoring processes that detect if someone is using a recording of your voice.

We can quickly enroll you in VoiceID the next time you call us at (800) 334-8788. We only need a few seconds of your recorded voice to set up the service.

Using VoiceID is optional. If you prefer to use your password or answer security questions when you call, you can continue to do so. You can also opt out of VoiceID at any time and we’ll delete your voiceprint.

VoiceID provides multiple layers of defense against fraud attempts using synthetic speech, including the ability to detect when audio is being manufactured digitally, played from a recording or does not match your stored voiceprint.
